LEBANON, OH – Town Money Saver franchisees and and married couple Jerry and Fae Ochs have been recognized as Franchise Rock Stars by independent market research firm Franchise Business Review.

This year’s Franchise Rock Stars were selected from over 28,000 franchisees, representing more than 300 brands that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research in the past 18 months.

“It is an absolute honor to be recognized,” said Fae. “Our goal from Day One was to make God a priority and assist our customers with growing their businesses.”

The Franchise Rock Stars recognized were nominated by their franchise brand leadership in one of eight categories as franchisees who set admirable examples when it comes to leadership, business acumen, financial and professional success, and contributing to their community. Categories included: Giving Back, Women, Millennials, Veterans, Family-Owned, “Freshmen,” Top-Performers, and Multi-Unit Owners.

Jerry and Fae Ochs were recognized in the “Giving Back” category for the exceptional work and care given to their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Who would have ever predicted Covid-19?” Fae asked. “What we didn’t anticipate was the friendships we would gain and the amazing community we work in. We’re having fun working together and learning about the wide variety of businesses.”

Bill Zirzow, president and CEO of Town Money Saver, said Jerry and Fae “get it,” which is part of what makes them special.

“There are certain things you just can’t teach – and putting your needs aside to help your customers is one of those things, but it’s more than that too,” he said. “Jerry and Fae would do the same things for their customers regardless of a pandemic or not. I’m proud to call them members of the TMS family.”

Among many things, Jerry and Fae helped promote local businesses through a series of Facebook videos in their town. The videos allowed business owners to tell the public how they would operate and what they would do to practice safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ochs team said the key to finding success through this situation was understanding their customers’ needs in order to accomplish their goals.

“We consider it a blessing to work in a franchise organization that supports our efforts, and whose motto is ‘serve others, you win; serve yourself, you lose.”
